Reputation information
The lookup requests the available VirusTotal record for a public IP address or domain. Depending on the record, results may include malicious and suspicious engine counts, community reputation, categories, registrar, country, network and autonomous system details.
Records can be missing, stale or incomplete. An address or domain with no detections is not necessarily benign, and a reputation score is not proof of malicious activity. Consider timestamps, evidence and context before acting.
Use public targets only
ATROXIS validates lookups for public hosts. Private and local network targets are not supported by this reputation tool. Avoid entering information you do not have permission to investigate.
Availability and privacy
This feature depends on the configured VirusTotal API key and service availability. Upstream rate limits may affect results. Submitted domains and IP addresses are sent to the reputation provider to retrieve its record.
